Silver Ion wound dressing is an anti-bacterial non-adhesive wound dressing that is made of synthetic polymer absorbent fibers by adding silver compound through special technology.
Working Principles:
1. Release Ag+ after contacting with wound exudate.
2. Ag+ bind onto the zympoprotein from bacterial cells, to inactivate it and then kill the bacterial.
3. Ag+ onto the DNA and RNA from bacterial cells and viruses, to avoid them replication.
4. Ag+ combine the metalloprotein in the wounds, to increase the concentration of Zn2+, Ca2+, Cu2+ to promote the wound healing.
