Calcium Alginate Dressing is a non-woven and non-adhesive fiber dressing that derived from natural processed seaweed. Due to its material property, it is suitable for the wound with heavy exudate.
Working Principles:
1. Ion exchange between Ca2+ and Na+, Ca2+ for activating prothrombin to promote coagulation.
2. Gel is formed by Ion exchange, which will keep the wound in a moist environment and meanwhile promote the wound healing.
3. The fiber will super absorb the exudate, which will lock the bacterial into the fiber to achieve anti bacterial.

1) All kinds of wound with moderate to heavy wounds.
2) All kinds of acute and chronic wounds. ((leg ulcer, pressure ulcer, diabetic ulcer, etc.)
3) Skin donor site.
4) Cavity wounds (nasal cavity surgery, sinus tract wounds, after tooth extraction wounds, etc.)
